The railway building design is inspired by the surrounding mountain landscape. The simplified rooftop gives the building its individual characteristics and becomes the symbol of Changbaishan Mountain. Commercial and public transportation are set in the space 9 meters below the rail track. Such design will strengthen the spatial connection between the city and the river landscape in the north.

By improving?its urban functions and merging the railway station space with?urban space, a city of highly intensive feature is created.
